Only Up 2 is an engaging and easy-to-understand action and indie video game whose objective is simple yet complex: overcome obstacles while keeping your balance and ascending to the summit. It has been approximately two years since its PlayStation release, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has aged magnificently.
It gives a distinct and relatively different vibe while preserving many entertaining characteristics from its prior release. That’s not to suggest that you would enjoy your time battling through the stronger adversaries without boosts from collectibles; for those who want a typical action-platformer experience, it’s amusing and a touch challenging, but the checkpoints are forgiving. It has a compelling feeling of cinematic vastness without sacrificing that essential R&C experience. It is also one of the most stunning-looking games I’ve ever played.
