Game Overview

The navigation system of WWE games has been improved to provide more natural walking, running, and dragging actions in WWE 2K14. Additionally, characters move more quickly than they did in the past. To stop gamers from repeatedly repeating running attacks, characters show “starting up” animations before sprinting. Now, all chain reversals result in offensive attacks, preventing endless reversal deadlocks and facilitating faster matches. Finishers for catapults may now be used offensively. Certain characters can throw their opponent into the air and land a catch finisher on them. Players may now engage with the arena setting and perform specific finishes on two opponents thanks to the addition of seven new “OMG!” moments. More than two counts have enhanced the near-fall system. A “Slobberknocker Mode” modified from “The Streak” mode was added as a gauntlet match.
